Ny svensk överfamilj bland steklarna – Det första nationella fyndet av Pseudogonalos hahnii Spinola, 1840 (Hymenoptera: Trigonalyoidea: Trigonalyidae)

Abstract

The first Swedish finding of Pseudogonalos hahnii Spinola, 1840 is presented. As P hahnii
is the only European representative of Trigonalyoidea, the superfamily is reported from
Sweden for the first time. The specimen, a male, was retrieved from a Malaise trap sample
collected in Norra hamnen, Malmö (55.6333 N, 13.0097 E) between 9th and 19th of July
2018. This article gives an introduction to Trigonalyoids with an outline of their diversity,
distribution, life history and ecology, focusing on Pseudogonalos hahnii.
