Ekcylinderbagge, Platypus cylindrus (Fabricius, 1792), (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Platypodinae) åter funnen i Sverige efter 70 år
Abstract
Until the year of 1950 the oak pinhole borer, Platypus cylindrus (Fabricius, 1792) was known from a few localities around the villages Mörrum and Bräkne-Hoby in the province of Blekinge in South Sweden. Since then, no findings have been made of the species in the wild in Sweden. In a survey carried out during the summer of 2020 using pheromones, six specimens of Platypus cylindrus were found, one of which in the nature reserve Grindstugan in Blekinge, the other five in the locality of Pataholm in the eastern part of the province of Småland in southeastern Sweden.
